About us

You are always sure of a warm welcome at Tyddyn Bychan rural bunkhouse. We are a traditional 18th century Welsh farmhouse complex set in a south facing hollow in beautiful rural surroundings yet less than a mile from the main A5. Tyddyn Bychan has one and a half acres of private land amidst farmland in the peaceful, picturesque hamlet of Cefn Brith.

We are a small family run business who believe in giving excellent value for money. We do not have a long list of do’s and don’ts but we would expect you to leave the property in the same condition you found it and that you keep the noise down after 11:00 pm. You can be fully self catering, eat out or we can prepare delicious pre-booked, home made meals. Vegetarians catered for.

The nearest shop is in Cerrigydrudion which is over 2 miles away. If you want to enjoy an evening in a local pub without driving then use Goddard Taxi firm. See links page for details.

You can arrive here at anytime of the day or night with prior notification. We operate under current fire regulations which are reviewed periodically. All vehicles and personal possessions are left at owner’s own risk. Pets by prior notification only.
